merry christmas

hooray! - december is here.

we went to the channel islands boat parade on the 8th which was lovely - a lot warmer than last year then we were off to magic mountain on the 9th [thanks for the season pass kellie :) ] aly went on a rollercoaster all by herself and toby made us go on the train over and over again.

we decided to tackle the thanksgiving sales which was interesting. we also finally managed to get the children's christmas portraits done for this year's christmas cards [we've done them ourselves up to now].

our current plans are to leave for canada around 18th - we're still in debate over whether we'll be driving or flying though.
