so this evening i find myself watching a 'news' report which is reviewing a show ABOUT the show ABOUT the michael jackson interview. i get the feeling this won't be the only news report on the subject. in fact in this news program there have been three features on michael jackson (his relationship with children, his mysterious face, and his mental state [what's to discuss? we all know he's completely bonkers]) so far and only one other news story.

i've been a little hopeless with updating photos/pages on this site lately so to make up for it here are a few photos taken in the last couple of days - aly and toby holding hands in their highchair [aaaah] [aly even says toby is her best friend] and them in their matching pjs [from grammy and grandad for christmas].

my mum has been here to entertain us and the children so sascha and i have already been on a date and we are all loving her being here [as always]. there have been lots of naptime scrapbooking sessions so far.

aly flew her first kite at the beach [although mommy and daddy had more fun of course].

on monday 3rd, the moms club board meeting and toddler playgroup were both held here so that day was chaos.

we're planning a trip to england based around work. initially we were hoping to take the same flight back to the UK as my mum (on the 17th of this month) but now it's looking as though it might have to be a little later. it will be so nice to see everyone again but will be weird to be back after so long. this will be toby's first trip to the uk. we're trying to sort out a british passport for him quickly otherwise we'll end up waiting in the big foreigners queue at the airport!
