happy ^50th di!

well we're back after a nice long trip to victoria. we managed to find some cheap flights just before leaving so the journey was a lot shorter than the one we were dreading.

all our gifts were wonderful (naturally) - thank you. this was aly's first year of being very excited about santa coming. he very kindly left her gifts on the balcony at oma and grandpa's house where we were staying (she even heard his bells).

aly and toby both got train sets which they love. santa brought aly roller blades which she's doing amazing well at. even toby is pretty good. hopefully she'll get a bit more time to practice now we're back in a much less rainy ventura. toby has a special soft spot for his singing dog (sings 'who put the bop in the bop shoo wop shoo wop') from his aunty tonya.
