dani's here! hooray - lots of help with the kids :) dani, sascha and aly have disappeared off to california adventure without me though. boo hoo :(
toby has learnt how to climb up on tables. fortunately he can't yet climb on the couch [when he's up there he loves to run along it]. unfortunately aly kindly pulls all the cushions off the couch so he can get up there [at least it's not as far to fall and the cushions are already on the floor to catch him!]
a friend (lisa) was explaining about a book called passages to me. i [obviously] haven't read it but the theory seems to be that as you go through life you go through cycles of unrest and then stabilisation. when you are born, these cycles are extremely short eg. 1 day, but as you get older the length of cycles increases eg. 5 yrs around the age of 30. anyway, normally it would sound a bit girly to me but whether it was the hope that aly would get over her hitting/unrest cycle next month or not, it really intrigued me. i'll have to borrow a copy or something
i won $5 playing bunko on monday night (15th) :) my friend megan just beat me to the $20 prize - doh
aly has decided to hit people (i thought she'd got over this when she was about 15 months old). She's now completely in a big bed. She now dances and sings (often with a plastic sausage for a microphone) to all the theme tunes she knows.
