happy 3rd birthday aly and congratulations on passing your driving test dani!
we've been having a great time in the uk - if a little hectic. we're trying to see as many friends as possible while we're here but time is already running out so if you feel you've been overlooked please email me [i promise it was nothing personal!] we still haven't managed to do a single touristy thing in london and i've just about given up all hope of anything like that happening. we're having a bluewave-ish night on wed. 21st at the street to say goodbye - everyone is welcome.
my mum and dad left for florida last night [shhhhh - no one is to tell aly they've gone to disneyworld!] which means i have to remember how to look after children by myself [sascha is busy being scottish in scotland for a couple of days] it's ok - it's all coming flooding back to me :-)
we're planning to visit sara and family in windsor next week and hopefully go to legoland for aly's birthday. we're also calling in to see helen and philip [who are still sulking a little after moving from geneva to somewhere near colchester]. along the way we should be able to call in on sheela - an old maths/physics school friend of mine who i haven't seen since school and who just had a little girl in november.
apart from that i'm busy planning an international scrapbook day event for my mum for the 18th of may [if you HAPPEN to be reading this and HAPPEN to be interested in starting scrapbooking and just HAPPEN to live in the NW [of england that is] please feel free to email me to invite yourself!
to any californian friends reading this - i can't wait to see you all :-)
