off to vancouver (by car) on a house hunt. the drive took around 24 hours each way.

the dvd collection saved the day - teletubbies for toby and spongebob for aly

taking a break from the long trip in portland children's museum - aly had the time of her life!
after driving for almost 18 straight hours, we decided to call in at portland zoo for a bit of light relief. as we drove into the parking lot we noticed portland childrens museum and decided to try there instead.
aly had the time of her life. she couldnt believe her luck being able to touch and play with whatever she wanted. unfortunately she (and all the other children) thought that the same was true in the museum café there were kids behind the counter, kids throwing fruit etc. etc! alys favourite area was the water zone and there was even a little baby play area for toby.

we looked all over greater vancouver before deciding that coquitlam is probably the place for us (despite this being the only place peta had vetoed before arriving due to pronunciation problems!)
