we made 2 trips to the blue planet aquarium in ellesmere port - the first with grammy and grandad almost as soon as we arrived in the country, and then on a chaotic bank holiday with ana, michael and heather [we had already met up at their house once so everyone had met the newcomers - heather and toby]. toby can watch fish for hours on end but aly dashed off to look at cool stuff with her daddy. she claimed the sharks were too scary but managed to persuade sascha to take her round to see them in the shark tunnel again! it was great to see the ana-gang but a little too noisy for catching up properly :-( our next outing to a petting zoo in brimstage village near my parents also ended up getting rained off so we didn't spend nearly enough time together on the trip.
