parkgate

my mum and dad now live in parkgate [still in wirral, but now very definitely in cheshire rather than merseyside!] it's a very quaint but strange seaside town. strange since it has a sea wall and seaside shops but no actual sea anymore - except for once a year when there is a high tide and the water returns. this happened to happen while we were staying there but we missed it [doh!] - these photos were taken by my mum and dad.

aly and toby spent the majority of their time staying at grammy and grandad's house [they stayed there while sascha and i worked down in london] in fact aly was convinced they lived there permanently by the end of the stay and the following few months. they had lots of visitors including my mum's friend viv and her granddaughter - also an alicia and my cousin lucy.

my mum caught onto a very good trick of buying aly a comic as soon as they entered a grocery store to keep her busy. both children really really enjoyed the rides outside the grocery store though...
