what is a blog?
a helicopter installed the world's largest olympic torch on top of the calgary tower. the flame was visible for 15-20kms and required 30,000 cubic feet of natural gas/hour.

we visited the olympic park in calgary. they've made really good use of the facilities post-olympics; they give tours, luge and skeleton starts in the ice house, use the mountain and ski-lifts for mountain biking, have dry slope ski jumping and tours up the biggest ski jump tower [which is what we did].
