we pretended toby's birthday was on sunday since dani was playing in a couple of soccer matches in the final of a tournament on monday. we did a big family lunch at white spot restaurant [his choice] then back to the house for presents [or 'prizes' according to toby]. he did very well and it turned into a very hot wheels birthday - hot wheels hats, plates, cake, hot wheels regularly sized cars, hot wheels atomix, a race car book, a race track, a different race track, a hot wheels car wash. oh - and a basketball hoop just to mix things up. he was in heaven. mcdonalds playplace for dinner. what more could a 3 year old wish for?
