The Golden Years

Ron and Agnes moved back to Wirral, England after Ron suffered a stroke and his health deteriorated. He died 6 years later in 2000 after many years of happy marriage and numerous cruises around the world.

"My favourite memories of Grandad are of doodling with him. He was a wonderful artist. Their house was always hung with his oil paintings of ships. The smell of oil paints always reminds me of him." Peta
