happy 1st birthday toby! also happy birthday to marcia.

we had a great party for toby on the 1st. we went to the natural history museum on the 5th for his birthday (supposed to be the zoo, but miraculously we had the first rain shower for as long as anyone could remember) and on the 6th (the day of his birthday) held a playgroup here with all his friends and then had a family meal with kellie and kenny (and lots of cake) - a positive birthday-fest.

aly drew her first proper picture (of aunty kellie). toby learnt to wave and say bye bye (well, he shouts something which means bye bye to him). he learnt it from the teletubbies just as aly did!

peter and nikki both came to visit separately which was lovely :) peter bribed them with presents and nikki bribed them by bringing her dog so everyone instantly got on really well!
