i tried to see as many friends as possible whilst back in england but of course there's never enough time. besides the ex-bluewavers, the nct gang from windsor and ana in wirral, i also managed to catch up with chris and lynn dundas, sheela ghosh and becky lawrence - the latter 2 through the wonderful friends reunited site.

lynn is now a child minder so they have a wonderful toy-filled house and also a small black lab puppy named 'boo'. we visited them for a few drinks and then went to a local pub for dinner. they've done a fantastic job of converting an old cottage just up the road from where my parents live in park gate.

sheela is an old maths/physics school friend of mine who i hadn't seen since wirral grammar and who just had a little girl, molly, in november. how cute :-) as you can see, her and aly were very interested in one another. we had a flying visit with them in st. neots on our way to colchester to see helen and philip.

after about 5 re-schedulings, i finally met up with becky lawrence who I hadn't since we both left primary school [at the age of 11] in a bar in london. it was wonderful to see her and we had a LOT of catching up to do. we're both hoping it will be less than 18 years before we see each other again! she's now a very busy lawyer but since she was just off to monaco for the weekend i think the busy-ness is probably worthwhile!
